Coach RYAN HART
My purpose for my dedication to health and fitness is my family, my competitions and YOU. I believe that whether your goal is to be fitter, faster, stronger or just healthier and happier, true change does not happen without honest commitment and meaningful purpose. That commitment needs to rest on the foundation of purpose that is bigger than just the number on a scale, weight on a barbell or even personal best at a race. The greatest race you are truly running, is the race of life. My commitment is to lead you down that path and invite you to truly challenge yourself and open up your life to an amazing amount of possibilities supported by the most amazing community of people.
My passion for health and nutrition began when I realized years ago that so much of what I was feeling, from emotionally to physically, was directly impacted by the choices I made within my diet. Like so many, I exercised mostly for cosmetic purposes, often obsessed more with a number on a scale than the quality of my nutrition. What I learned through my experience, studies and personal transformations, is that our happiness is so directly impacted by our health, and how so many individuals and families could benefit from whole and nourishing foods if only they could be assisted in their understanding of what it meant to be truly healthy.
I've never been a fan of trainers at the big box gyms. They seemed to only care about making money, and not as much about the client. Within 10 minutes of meeting Ryan, I knew he was the one I wanted as my coach. I could feel the passion and intensity, and the sense I got was be was more interested in making us better than just making money. Initially I just wanted to get over the 8 foot wall. Training with Ryan and the group we now know as FLATliners, I learned even more about what this community is truly about. They inspire me, and help bring out my best. I'd never been around a group of people that pushes, supports, and encourages me the way they do.
I am a Chicago native who moved to the western suburbs eleven years ago with my then, twelve year old son. Shortly after the move I met my husband and we now have two additional children and call Naperville home. I am a career-woman dedicated to faith, family, friends and fitness. I, like a lot of other working parents work hard at balancing the needs of my family, career and personal goals. I have participated in Spartan races across the country as well as local OCR events that include the Highlander Assault, the Abominable Snow Race and Dirt Runner. In late 2017, I was honored by the opportunity to become the Hart Fitness SGX Ambassador. In this role, I seek out organizations to partner with and educate more members of the community on the benefits OCR has on cognitive thinking- focusing on the population experiencing neurodevelopment disorders as my son was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and I have personally seen the benefits and how it’s improved his quality of life. Then, after years of trying fad diet after fad diet, I sat down with Crystal Hart of Hart Healthy to understand what nutrition really meant and what foods fuel the body and mind to seek optimal performance. Crystal and Ryan have helped me get in the best shape of my life and I’m nowhere near done yet!

COACH JoN coluzzi
In my family there has been a history of heart disease, diabetes, and cancer. Seeing first hand what can happen to you when you don't take care of your health is the reason I became a trainer in the first place. So since 2012 it has been my mission to coach people to live a healthier and happier life. I believe that people should always strive to be the strongest and most athletic version of themselves. For some that could be getting deeper in their squat for others it could be competing for a faster time in a race. What ever the case may be you should always shoot to be a better version of yourself. But this doesn't happen over night, it takes little victories along the way to achieve this and seeing clients conquer these daily battles is my main driving force behind why I do what I do. That is why if you have a drive to be better I can help get you there.
