FLATLINE O.C.R. PROGRAM
Powered by a Spartan SGX Certified Coach, FLATline OCR Training is the pinnacle of Obstacle Course Training in the CHICAGO area. Located in Plainfield, Illinois, Hart Fitness boasts a gym as specialized in OCR as the program that we coach.
We run both OCR SIMULATION STYLE workouts (like an obstacle race with exercise circuits mixed in), and OCR FOCUSED STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING workouts (FLATline OCR HIIT).
FLATline OCR Training runs 5 classes throughout the week, the entire year long (excluding some holidays and race weekends). When we’re not running classes, we’re training our athletes INDIVIDUALLY to be the absolute BEST Obstacle Course Racers they can be.

WHAT IS FLATLINE O.C.R. SIMULATION STYLE TRAINING?
Glad you asked, because it’s truly like nothing else. We’re NOT a CrossFit or Ninja Warrior Gym who ALSO offers OCR Classes. We are a gym built COMPLETELY around and EXCLUSIVELY for Obstacle Course Racing and Spartan Training. Our simulation classes are designed to give you a real world Obstacle Racing experience, within the confines of a workout (WOD) that will properly challenge all of the physical fitness systems that we rely on during a SPARTAN, TOUGH MUDDER, SAVAGE, or ANY National or Local O.C.R.
You’ll RUN. You’ll CARRY. You’ll CRAWL. You’ll CLIMB. You’ll WORKOUT. And you’ll be exposed to a creative and often, quite devious, array of OBSTACLES.

ALL WEEK, WE RUN UP TO FOUR DIFFERENT STYLES OF O.C.R. SIMULATION STYLE WODS.
STADIUM WOD (STADION)- Quick and to the point. Everything from the exercises to the obstacles are meant to develop and test your ability to quickly transition from a workout circuit, to a set of obstacles, carries and running, against a clock for points on our LEADERBOARD. Obstacle difficulty is at it’s most approachable, and most athletes finish in 30 to 60 minutes.
SPRINT WOD - Similar to our STADION WOD but often with a longer workout circuit and an added difficulty level to the obstacles, the SPRINT WOD will test your abilities and improve your efficiency both in your fitness and on the course as you work against the clock for points on our LEADERBOARD. Most athletes will finish within 35 to 65 minutes.
SUPER WOD - Often on our Thursday night class, the SUPER WOD is quite a step up from the STADION and SPRINT. As the carries become both heavier, and often longer, the obstacle difficulty increases a few notches especially with a more advanced workout circuit. Some nights may even involve a second WOD cricuit. Mileage is stepped up as well as athletes push against the clock for points on our LEADERBOARD, most will finish a SUPER WOD in 45 to 90 minutes.
BEAST WOD - Darn Tough. And that’s been said by more than a few. Our BEAST WODS, which typically run on Saturday mornings, are the ultimate test of your challenges within the sport, and your progress in which you’ve made. The toughest obstacles, the heaviest and longest carries combined with our hardest WOD Circuits and penalty laps that REALLY motivate you to improve on your obstacles while working against the clock for points on our LEADERBOARD. Most athletes will finish in 60 to 120 minutes.
And since OCR Races like Spartan Race, Tough Mudder, Savage Race, Bone FROG,Terrain Race, and Warrior Dash aren't run inside, you can rest assured that our training won't entirely be either which is why besides using the outdoors of our grounds at Hart Fitness, we travel to Mt. Hoy at Blackwell Forest Preserve throughout the week as well. Even cooler? FLATline OCR is a fantastic place to train for our outstanding community of growing LOCAL OCR'S such as STRONG AS OAK, FRONTLINE OCR, HIGHLANDER ASSAULT, DIRT RUNNER AND ABOMINABLE SNOW RACE!
FLATline OCR SILVER MEMBERSHIP
For $120 per month, the FLATline OCR Membership gets you 2 FLATline OCR or HartFit HIIT Classes per week (or 8 per month) at Hart Fitness or Mt. Hoy, Blackwell Forest Preserve as well as our B2B (Back to Basics) and HartFit HIIT class, SAO Strong As Oak Bootcamp and FREE open gym. You also have FREE Access to our RAPID REBOOT RECOVERY SYSTEM and our OCR COMBINE 10 MINUTE CHALLENGE! Additional classes are $15 after the 8 monthly are used and before the start of the next month. Memberships are automatically charged on the 1st of every month until cancelled. Unused classes DO NOT roll over to the next month.
